Robert's Story

Robbie grew up in Franklin County and attended Baylor School in Chattanooga as a boarding student for all four years of high school — the years that gave him a lasting connection to the city he now serves as an attorney. He went on to the University of Tennessee at Knoxville for a degree in Business Administration, then earned his Juris Doctorate from California Western School of Law.

From there, Robbie took his legal education a step further, earning an LL.M. in Mediation and Dispute Resolution from Chapman University School of Law, where he received the Excellence for the Future Award for his work in the school's Mediation Clinic. While in California, he mediated cases directly in the Riverside Superior Court system — family disputes, restraining orders, neighbor disputes, unlawful detainer cases, and collections — along with mediating student disputes for Ashford University and the University of the Rockies. That hands-on mediation background is real, specialized training most attorneys simply don't have, and it directly supports the firm's alternative dispute resolution work today.



After marrying his college sweetheart, also a Tennessee native, Robbie returned home to join the law firm his father, Floyd Davis, had built. He's licensed to practice in Tennessee, Georgia, and federal courts, and today leads the firm's Chattanooga and Dalton offices while serving as Municipal Judge in Decherd, TN.
