Andy's Story

Andy grew up in Franklin County, Tennessee, and after earning a business degree from Miami University in Ohio and a law degree in San Diego, he came back home to practice — joining Davis & Davis in Winchester, the community he never really left.

Andy's track record speaks for itself. In his first two years practicing, he won six consecutive jury trials, and that early momentum has held: in his last five personal injury jury trials, the verdicts averaged five times the insurance company's final settlement offer. That combination of trial results and negotiating leverage is a big part of why he's been selected to The National Trial Lawyers Top 100 for four consecutive years running, and why the American Institute of Criminal Law Attorneys named him one of their 10 Best Attorneys in Tennessee.

Andy handles cases across the board — from car accidents and wrongful death claims to DUIs and serious felony charges — and takes the time to understand what each client actually needs, whether that's a clean record, a fair settlement, or simply someone in their corner during a difficult time. Outside the courtroom, Andy is a husband and father who stays closely involved in the Franklin County community. He volunteers with Blue Monarch, a recovery program supporting women overcoming addiction, and with the Franklin County Drug Recovery Court Program — helping participants get a clean start, including with the legal matters that can stand in the way of moving forward.
